Dr. Timothy Lax received his medical degree at the Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine in Portland, Oregon. He was trained in pediatrics at the Nicklaus Children's Hospital. He completed a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology from Northwestern University as well as Allergy and Immunology at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He subsequently served as clinical director for the Department of Allergy and Inflammation at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical center. He is is board-certified in Allergy and Immunology. He evaluates and manages a wide array of allergic/immunologic conditions including angioedema, chronic hives, food allergies, drug allergies, recurrent anaphylaxis, seasonal allergies, bee sting reactions, and asthma.
